spark plug help

hi i have john deere jdx4 special with a ccw kec-340/5.and i have been running ngk-r br9es plugs in it and i was wondering if thoes plugs are good to run in that engine please email me at capt_blood11@yahoo.com :letitsnow: :needsnow: :thinksnow: :sled: :winter: :usa:

Hi Josh, Check out here:http://www.jdsleds.com/tech/spark.html If yours is a points sled, I'd try a non resistor plug. I might be able to stop by this weekend sometime.

Those plugs should be fine.

I'm running the BR9ES in my JDX4 Special with the 340/5. They are performing excellent. The only thing that I can't figure out is why the BR9ES aren't mentioned in the tech section referenced above. I took the sheet from the tech section with me to my local shop, and they said the BR9ES are the equivalent NGK plug for the AC and Champions listed. The JDX4, JDX6, 400, 500, and 600 all use the same AC and Champion numbers and also list the BR9ES. Again, I've had very good results. I just rode mine today and they seem to perform well.
