My first guess would be, no, as it is a 440. But an engine swap could have been done when they redid the hood with non oem decals. The proof would be in the serial #.

I don't think it's a mistake, this one has the ultra-rare Klortz engine in it. Probably, a one of a kind experimental model.

That might be a bit steep but there is a 300 and 400 advertised locally for 1000 and 1200 respectively. Prices are pretty inflated across the border for some reason.

Looks to be in "nice" condition.....but needs track.....other than that and oh....needs ski, and yeah.....seat too. But other than those things.....it's great. Oh, and decals....needs decals. Paint is bad too. Oh and rear grab bar isn't original...and grille is busted up and mostly missing...but sled is really...REALLY nice! Must see to appreciate!! :beers;

They even put "Liquid"fire on the hood. :roll:
Doubt they know if it is a 440 or not.
Who knows? The tunnel might be the only thing decent.
As always, if it is close enough, take a look. I picked up an "82 Sprintfire" (asking $450)
for $50. (Actually a non-running '83 smashed & dented) Bought it for the track & parts.
