Comet 94C Removal

Post by DeereKid9 »

Ok, it's time to buy the right clutch removal tool for the job. However, I need to know which one that is.

I have used a hardened piece of steel rod and a bolt, but that scares the ba-jeebers out of me, and I bought one for the comet 94c but the threads are wrong.

My options look like the two or three piece kit, seem right? I mean that's how I have been getting by, with the bolt and rod piece.

Answers?

Thanks,

John Deere Bob Amber (that really pi$$es Rainville off when I do this).

JDBA, I thought there was only one size of puller for the 94's.

Maybe they sent you the wrong one?

Should be 9/16's fine thread? I just use the old bolt and hyd fluid method...way safer then jamming anything wrong in there.

That would be Rick Weaver. Goes by Snosnake on other forums.
