75 JDX8 Princeton find with question

KEC 440/22 R ????

Is there anything special here? Could it be an RS? There are two pulsating lines one is plugged and the intake has been changed. I didn't take any more pics, mike817o (my step-dad) bought the machine and we can't seem to figure it out. And the tuner pipe is complete and still silver

Not aware there is a 440 RS2. Only aware of 340 and 295.

Being as the the end of the tag is missing, it would read KEC 440/22 Reed. sorry nothing special but 75s with the tuner are cool

Dustin is right that the tag would have said Reed, but what has been changed on the intake? The carb does look like it's higher then normal, and does it have the CDI or points? Normally the CDI would be right there above the carb.

I have heard of a 440RS Motor but have yet to ever see one. I thought I looked the CCW motors over pretty good but apperently I missed that one. Guess I will have to watch those free air motors too.

Old sleds are hours of entertainment.... then you get to ride them for a little bit.

Matt's correct in that Skiroule used the "RS" motor. Really a pretty cool motor in my opinion.
