wiseco 440/5 pistons

anyone know if wiseco made pistons for the 440/5 mills ,have a part number? also looking for oversized pistons for the same ,thanks wade
certificate recipiant of the 12 vintage challenge !! on a 78 liquifre 440,
certificate recipiant of the 13 vintage challenge !! on a 340/s
certificate recipient of the 14 vintage challenge !! on a 78 liquifire 440
joe forgot the certificates for the 2015 vintage challenge
crossed the start/finish line twice at the 2013 and 2014 I500 on a 78 liquifire 440

Wade, They did for the 440/3 & 4's my books don't even mention the 440/5..

i had the same problem last winter!!! wiseco does not make a piston for the 440/5 But they makes a single ring pisten for a TNT that will fit after you clearence them for the crank. the only problem you will have to have a thicker head gasket made for it to lower compression or you will have over 200 lb of compression like i did...
if your intrested i can try and find the numbers for them this weeknd if you intrested...

200 PSI in a 440/5??

The KEC400/2 ran over 200 lbs stock used in the 71 Scorpion Stinger.

That kind of compression might be a bit hard on the shoulder pulling over.

Not that bad at all really.

I once pulled over a 71 TNT with the 775 twin with 230 lbs.
That was nasty!

The Scorps( I have three of them) pull easy with two hands.

I think any engine with over 150 psi needs premium.
