I am going through my motor right now, replacing seals and gaskets hoping to fix any air leaks that I have. well, stupid me forgot to take the flywheel off before I pulled the cylinders and I broke the skirt off of my left piston.
I've searched online a bit and can't find a place to find new ones for this engine, but every other engine option is out there.
Anybody got one or know of a place to get one?

Re: Need a KEC 340/5 piston
Sorry for another post, lol.
I ended up finding this http://www.mfgsupply.com/snowmobile/sno ... 9-665.html
It lists the fitment for 75-77 John Deere 400. I wonder what would be different than the '74? Jdsleds lists the 1974 having a CCW Kec 340/5 and the 1975 with a Kioritz KEC 340/5. I think I'm going to order them as soon as someone can verify they are the same thing. Thanks!

I don't believe that listing is right - that piston is a 2.559" bore which is 65mm, the 340/5 should only be 60mm. That's probably for a 400cc engine rather then the model 400.
