I would recommend the Cyclone/Liquifire chassis as a builder, lots of room under the hood for just about any engine/clutch combination. The best part is theres lots of them out there!

Cam, if you just want to go straight a JDX would work and it has slides. There has been some success in the ovals with the Fire series. If you really want to put some power into something to make it move the Cyclone chassis is tough to beat looks wise.

Just remember you have to fit in a class. Put an 800 Rotax into a Cyclone and you are in 800 mod class and shy about 100 hp. The 80-84 Liquid was a "B" stock race sled back in the day. It had a good power/wieght ratio. It was and is the fastest Deere made and there are lots of parts for it kicking around. Peter

Was at a local race on lake Wisconsin, a guy had a 76 liquifire chassis with a 900 wildcat engine. 95 mph in 1000 ft on this day.
