How high should my 82 liqufire set off the ground on the back?

I don't have the measurements but it should look like this.

Dose anybodyhave any messurements? That would help alot my liqufire only sits 4 inchs off the ground.

If it was a Spitfire, I would say you are good to go, but for a Liquifire, that's a little low. Here is a pic of my 80 Liquifire, it's about 8" off the ground.

Two things come to my mind that would cause it to be low if it has a stock suspension.

1. Are the aluminum cross shafts free?
2. Incorrect or malfunctioning shock.

I assume the spring(s) are not broke.

If you've never had the suspension out & apart, all of the above, plus bad idler bearings. A spring could be broken as well.

Yes I've had it out before it has a shock on it from Dennis kirk but the suspension isn't really springy you can sit on it and it gos down then won't come back up.

Try this...Loosen all 4 of the mounting bolts in the tunnel so the washers can spin, don't take them out. Try your method of sitting down on the seat compression the springs. If the supsension rises after you get off, the shafts are frozen/stuck.
