Thought you guys would find it interesting that we fired up the 295s and the Liquidator when we had snow over Halloween.
My Dad took the 295s and crushed me off the line but by about 35mph or so he was eating my 'snow dust'. I tend to forget just how fast that little 295s really is even with that smaller engine size.
Sure was nice to get the sleds out. We decided the sleds need to be ridden and not just sit in the garage til one of us dies or something. So that's the plan. What a riot. Loved the growl of the Liquidator sitting in the driveway as the neighbors came out to see what all that noise was about! No seemed to mind standing around the smell of the idling 2 strokers while looking at the JD sleds.
These sleds still draw a big crowd after all these years!

Re: 295/s and Liquidator
Craig,
Recently I had the same thing. My wife hosted a surprise birthday party for me. I got all lubed up and with some buddies decided to fire up my recently restored liquidator at 10pm in our neighborhood. It was awesome and sounded great at least till my wife came running out and asked me what the "blank" I was doing it.
It was awesome and worth it to bring these girls back to better than new and let them show off. Man they sound awesome.
