Sportfire Performance Questions
Sportfire Performance Questions
Hi I was wondering if there is anyway to get a little more punch out of my little Sporty. I have the helix wound at hole 3 or 4 I think. I was just wondering if anyone had any good Clutch combinations to really give this thing some more nut! Most of my problem I've found is with traction. I may play with studs if I can find another track. This ones in nice shape. Also any gearing or jetting ideas? Thanks.

Re: Sportfire Performance Questions
yeah, for me too the problem with most of the JDs is traction. For this reason I have not had to hunt for much more power. You have to remeber that the tracks on these sleds don't have the biggest "bite" in the snow.

Re: Sportfire Performance Questions
Studs & carbides make a big difference, but Bob, if you have a good running sled, DON'T MESS WITH IT. If you want performance, work on the Liquifire while riding the Sport!
