Looking for a 72 JD 400 Rectifier

Does anyone know where I can get a 3 prong rectifier either NOS or aftermarket?? I broke one of the prongs off and can not soider it.

Any info would be great!!

Voltage regulator?
stator coil? Not familliar with those earlier sleds but a rectifier?

It's part of the electric start kit.

ohh the diode thing. I have some radio shack diodes(blocking diodes). There the highest rated ones they sold at the time but don't think their big enough for what you need. maybe I will post a pic and see what you think. If you thonk they will work, PM me and I will send to you. Maybe Matt can help with what you need and the pics.

25 amp full wave bridge rectifer would handle 300 watts when installed properly. (heat sinked)

There is no sled out there that puts out that much power.

Use three terminls and and you have a half wave rectifer.

Stopped off a Radio Shack today, they have a 25 amp 50 volt full wave bridge rectifier, but how do I know if it will work? Also stopped off at JD and the part number is AM52108. This is a three prong rectifier not like the ones used on the 73 - 75 models which are four prong.

I do not think mine would work. Thats a whole different part then what I was thinking.
