Works out very well. There is absolutely no ski lift, didn't feel any darting at high speeds.
Next up is a 136 liquifire.

Re: John deere Trailfire 121
First I pressed ski doo 2.52 drivers on the Deere driveshaft, and then I used the Deere suspension shafts where it mounts to the tunnel in the Polaris suspension because the deere tunnel is slight wider. It all bolted up after that.

Yeah just enough, can't use any bigger lug than what I did without a drop and roll.

Re: John deere Trailfire 121
What Polaris is the track and suspension out of? You used a 3/4 lug track? I might actually do this... I hate my stock track... it just spins everywhere with no traction

Re: John deere Trailfire 121
It's just a Polaris 121 track, roughly .75 lug. I don't know what it came out of as I got it off a pile of parts at a salvage yard.
Needs to be a early 90's suspension before the Extra 10.
I'm hoping to do a 136 liquifire soon.

Looks like an Indy 500 suspension. You actually fit the JD mounts to it?

Bolted right up, didn't have to change any holes on the tunnel.

Re: John deere Trailfire 121
Excellent. Indy's go cheap around here. Might look for one, use the suspension for the LF and the motor for a go cart

Re: John deere Trailfire 121
Indy suspension fits just fine. Think about a reenforcement plate around the bolt holes on the inside of the tunnel to be safe; alot of pressure on the bolts through pretty thin metal.
