crank seal

Post by smithw44 »

was wondering if it is ok to use the ribbed crank seals that new breed sells for a cyclone 440 i know the nos ones are not ribbed and dont wanna trim the rib off like mentioned if the desire was there. what does the ribbing do vs the non ribbed seals?

If i remember correctly, Matt cannot get regular 1302's from his supplier. The only way he can get a seal that size it to get one with a rib. I would just shave it off with my knife if it was me.
