This may be a little premature, but I am putting up my 1980 Liquifire project sled. You can read all about the build by following this link.

I say it may be premature, because it's not running the best at the moment. It starts, but has a hard time idling and transitioning to more throttle. I am pretty sure it's in the carbs, but I haven't had any free time to work on it. I will probably work on it some this weekend and see if I can get it running better, but if I don't I still want to sell it. I'm reducing the asking price to $2000 the way it sits. The price will go to $2500 if I get it running properly, and then $3000 this winter, if I still have it. If you know how to tune a sled, this would be a great buy. It's a beautiful sled, but I need the room, and the cash. Here are some details on the sled. I think this covers it, but I may be missing something, so please ask if you have any questions.

Tunnel – nice and straight, painted base coat/clear coat.
Suspension – disassembled, sand blasted and powder coated. New bearings in all the idler wheels, new hyfax, and a new shock.
Track – studded, nice condition, no issues.
Bulkhead, radiator support and steering support– sandblasted and powder coated.
Ski’s – hand sanded, painted satin black, new carbide runners.
TPR panels – painted base coat/clear coat.
Bumper – hand sanded, painted satin black, nice and straight.
Hood – painted base coat/clear coat, hand sanded, and machine buffed.
Engine – Kawasaki 4/6, seller said it was recently rebuilt. Measured the compression, and was just over 125 psi both cylinders.
Exhaust – sandblasted and ceramic coated.
Seat – recovered.
Radiator hot tanked and pressure tested.
Primary clutch - Comet 108 EXP, has new weights/cam arms, sheaves are near perfect.

New or NOS parts include.
Throttle cable
Choke cable
Drive belt
Driver bearings
Jackshaft bearings
Tachometer
Speedometer
Speedometer cable, and drive
Temperature gauge
Handlebar heaters
Grille
Decals
Studs
Carbides
Windshield
Gas gauge/cap
Starter rope
Fuel lines, filter, pickup screen, shutoff valve, and fuel pump.
Oil injection tank, filter and lines
Coolant lines
Exhaust springs
Re-chromed handle bars and accents
Stainless, or plated hardware.
Thermostat
Radiator cap

Everything else on the sled is in very good to excellent condition, just needs some tuning and some shocks for the ski's. Pm me if interested.

Thanks....Terre

I don't keep track of what I spend Matt, but I am pretty sure this one is in the mid 3K range, so I think it's a great buy, even though it's not running the way it should. I priced it to sell, so we will see what happens....Terre
