Re: Book Update
Actually I couldn't open it because I don't have a password. Is Dick going to be at the 50th?

Re: Book Update
how is this
The John Deere snowmobile book is almost available. It's been four plus years of hard work and I hope everyone enjoys the results.
McFarland publishing company is in the final production steps and it is now available to be pre-ordered directly from them. It takes a few key strokes but you can get there by googling McFarland Publishing then open the advanced catalog search tab. Then type in John Deere Snowmobiles in the title area and hit enter and the book cover and some of the information will be seen. The table of contents and excerpts will come later.
The book will be available from Barnes & Noble, Amazon, local libraries and others once it's out sometime this fall.
Please pass the word to all that have been waiting soooooo long.
Thanks for your patience,
Dick Teal

Re: Book Update
Dick,
Will order two this weekend. Thanks so much for this project! My son just completed a book and he said the editing was VERY time consuming. Not mention the research work that needed to be done... See a Polaris Race history book is coming out next month. Will have lots of reading when the days start getting shorter. Hope your time spent on this will be well rewarded!

Re: Book Update
Info.........Amazon has it listed already under "John Deere Snowmobile Books", $45, no shipping or handling charges if you have a Prime account or if you can wait 5 to 8 business days for delivery without an Amazon Prime account. They give an estimated availability date of approximately Dec. 31.
THANKS to the authors Ron & Dick for all the work that went into writing the book. I am sure it will be a great read. Looking forward to getting my copy.
Thanks again to the both of you,
Guy
