TAKEN!! Free to good home, 2-78 JD 300's in Indianapolis

I have owned these sleds since 1992 and had every intention of keeping them forever. I am moving and will not be able to keep them. They are not in very good shape, but hopefully someone here can use them for parts or bring them back to life, like I wanted to do. I have pulled the motor from one of them and was going to put new seals and everything in it, but this move has come on quickly and they must go. I had the one running last year before I pulled the motor. The seals were dry rotted, so I didn’t run it but long enough to make sure it would still fire. Most everything is there. I think I only have one carb, it is a Walboro WD. They both have the Kohler K 295-2AX motor. One windshield is broken in 2 pieces and the other is cracked. Seats are toast, One is missing the motor lid. Lots of good parts though.
If you are interested and serious, Feel free to contact me. I can hold on to them for a little while for someone, but I really would like them gone. I will go by the old FIRST COME FIRST SERVE rule, so if you want them, let me know right away. I will give you guys an opportunity first, but if there is no interest, they will go on craigslist as FREE. so someone will take them, I am sure. I am on the north west side of Indianapolis, IN. You MUST Take both sleds!!!!
