1980 liquifire airbox needed

Post by SeaRayKindaDay »

Like the title suggests, I managed to lose the airbox for one of my sleds and have finally decided its gone for good! If anybody has an '80-'84 440 liquifire airbox they'd let go for a fair price I'd like to hear from you. Any condition.

Thanks in advance

The boxes are easy enough to find it's finding one with a good screen in it that is hard to do ( screens are always rusted ).. I can check & see IF i have one here in Mo., IF not I know there are some we took off in MN.
I also know that we don't have any with good screens..

Well see what you have. The mesh isnt my biggest concern. I can copy that mesh tube and weld something up. Pm me if you need.

Ok I found it here, Nice box, not cut on the bottom side of the carb flanges, ( you can tell it never came off of one of our sleds because of this )The two OEM clamps are there, BUT will need some polishing & a new repopped Air Tube/Screen Rubber.. I don't have a screen, or the Plastic J hook for a hose or what ever mounts there on the side of the box..
I figured you didn't want the mouse nest so I through that away, IF you do want it ( the mouse nest ) let me know before Wed as that is the day the trash man comes.. I've got it soaking in the wife's Kitchen sink right now so it'll clean up a bit..
