Funny way to get me to sell parts...

Post by JoeRainville »

Hey Guys,

As some of you know, I have a tendancy to hoard NOS Deere sleds parts. I usually sell the extra's I have to follow collectors to support restorations and such, but I am sometimes reluctant to sell the last piece I have of some parts.

However, this follow Deere collector sent me a pic that was so funny, I had to help him out. To protect the guilty, or not-so guilty, I will leave the sender anomomous unless he want to indentify himself.

Not only did I get a good laugh, he got my last 79 Trailfire TPR for his efforts. Should be one sweet looking Trailfire when he is done with it.

Hey Joe, is that what I have to do to get parts from you?

I'll keep that in mind!

I'll fess up to being the guilty party - I wish I had a dollar for every person that has been in my garage since then and noticed that sign. They all ask who in the world is Joe Rainville and who needs his help?

Whats worse, to get favors from Rich, I've offered to give him the E-Mail addresses of the good looking Mackintosh computer on my neighbors desk and the curvy black IBM computer my brother just bought. Unfortunatley, he's in a relationship with a notebook computer in his hometown.

Hey Guys,

Post some pic's of that Trailfire when it's done, looking forward to seeing it.

LX: What, me forget a part?! Oh, yea... Anyway, I will load one up tonight. I should be pretty easy to find at the show tomorrow. I will have my black trailer, 78 CC, and my SnoCross Cat's to grass drag with.

As for Rich, (Rainville Integral Carbon Hybrid): For a 22 year old S/W program designed to archive knowledge of Deere's sled program, he might need a little program updating to appriciate the value of logging on to a young, hot little computer platform. If any of you guys can member that far back, FORTRAN was a tough, durable program language but a bit stubborn too. It might not understand WinXP or Mac OS 27 systems yet either. Need to flash a new patch called "HCA: Hot Chick Appriciation", LOL.

Later Liquidator,
-Rainville

Is it true that Rich's cooling fan is connected to a wheel that is spun by a Gerbil running in a circle?
