Need track cleats for 82 Trailfire 340
I just picked up an 82 Trailfire from a fellow member last night. I am needing a couple of track cleats and rivets for it right now and want to have some extras, so I would like to find 6 or 8 total. If anyone has any NOS or good used cleats please let me know. Also, are there any special tools for putting the rivets in or just a punch and air hammer? I am very pleased with the sled and my wife thinks the electric start will be great, so she has sort of claimed it. Thanks, Jeff

Jeff,
Try looking on ebay. There are some listed right now.
By the way, what is the third sticker on the sled, the one next to the serial number?
Nice find!

A pneumatic riveter works great for cleats. And pans. Or when you need to use steel rivets.

This is the third decal that is on the tunnel. It is the dealer decal from Roscoe, IL. I have decided that, instead of rivets, I am going to use the track cleat bolts. I see that there are a couple different size bolts. What size do I need for the Trailfire? Thanks, Jeff

Also, forgot to add, when I start it, I get a little tingle through the ignition key that is almost like grabbing onto a plug, but not as severe. Is my key switch bad, or do I have an ignition problem?

Hi guys.
I have a excellent condition cleated track on a 1982 Trailfire that I'm going to remove this coming week. I prefer to run the rubber tracks on my sleds so I would sell it if anyone wanted it. Nice piece. Can get pics this weekend
