Needed: Sportfire jackshaft
I am in need of a good Sportfire/Trailfire jackshaft. Don't ask me how but mine is bent. Guess I beat on it a little hard.

I probaby have a good one. Are they same across the board for Trailfires, Liquifires, Sportfires?
I know I just had two welded up due to being worn. PM me if interested.

It sounds like JDRob has me hooked up with one, but FYI Liquifires are longer then the Trail/Sport version.

Re: Needed: Sportfire jackshaft
I might be wrong, but I thought the 80-81 Liquifire shafts were the same as the trail / sport shaft. 82-84 had a longer shaft to eliminate all the shims behind the secondary.

Re: Needed: Sportfire jackshaft
That may be true, I just know I had purchased a Liquifire shaft in the past that didn't work.

I'm pretty sure that the Liquifire (riders) have longer shafts than the trailfire/sportfire riders.

Just because you have a longer shaft (on a Liquifire) does not mean you know you to use it.DeereKid9 wrote:I'm pretty sure that the Liquifire (riders) have longer shafts than the trailfire/sportfire riders.
