Just bought this guy. I'm not going to start work on it right away so it's just going to hang out here for a while, but I know I want to keep the custom pin-striping and stuff on the hood.

440. I started wondering that as well - the seller wasn't the one who did the paint so it wasn't with him, but maybe before that...

Great find matt ! Seems like the 78 l/f was the most commonly customized Jd sled with custom graphics and such
certificate recipiant of the 12 vintage challenge !! on a 78 liquifre 440,
certificate recipiant of the 13 vintage challenge !! on a 340/s
certificate recipient of the 14 vintage challenge !! on a 78 liquifire 440
joe forgot the certificates for the 2015 vintage challenge
crossed the start/finish line twice at the 2013 and 2014 I500 on a 78 liquifire 440

I'm not real happy with the track. It looks OK until you bend it around an idler, then it looks pretty cracked.

These tunnel decals would be perfect except there is some kind of damage to them, maybe melted from sparks? I may use them as is and just touch up the missing paint.
