Well this was my first jd sled. 80 trailfire 340. I paid $1 for it. Never again have I found another jd sled for that cheap lol. We had a blast on them but rode them and never thought about saving them and I am trying to relocate it and it was either sent to a scrapyard or its behind my childhood friends barn. But I'm working on it needless to say.

Longstory short, the old neighbor guy had 3 JD's 2-1980 Trailfire 340's and 1-1979 Trailfire 340. His kids were all grown up and all the sleds were doing were sitting in his garage taking up space. He asked all of us lil neighbor kids if we each wanted one for a $1 each. Well we did! So we got them running enjoyed them for 2 winters and then blew a track and sold it and never fixed it up. If I only knew what I know now!
