new to site looking into remanufacturing some parts

Post by fredeam »

hey guys new to the site. I own as of a couple days ago two 1976 John Deere 440 Liquifires that I actually had when I was a kid about 20 years ago. the guy that we sold them to still had them and I got them back for next to nothing. They both run and I'm going to be restoring them. I've done some small remanufacture of parts for other things I'm looking into doing it for some of the John Deere sleds. What are some parts that are hard to find or impossible that are common. bounce some ideas off of me and I'll see about making some new ones.

Throttle and Brake Blocks come to mind if you're into plastic parts.

I specialize in plastic parts. If I have good parts to replicate I can make molds and manufacture some new ones. I know those blocks that hold the dimmer and kill switches were an issue and I think mine are good on my sleds so I will probably try to make some of those

Also need 80-84 blocks. Do you need samples for that?
