Holyland Ride

Post by hounds84lhs »

Went for a little ride around the Holyland in WI. Got some nice pics of the sleds and the old churches in Kloten, St Joe, Charlesburg, Jericho and Marytown. 52 miles and the sleds ran great.

Those are great pics! I wish we had a snowmobile trail system here to ride to cool places like that!

Only one of the churches is still open. I thought I better get some pictures of them before they decay and get down. Beautiful architecture. I am hoping the snow will hold out for another week and I can do the southern loop and get a few more places.

If that is the case, I hope someone can go in there and salvage some of the good architectural pieces.... It's a shame when places like that are torn down... Lose a big part of history.
