Figured I would post this here as well as there might be more traffic - have a comet clutch on my 800 that I want to remove to replace with a new 102c. This one looks a lot different, my puller is way too big to fit in the threads. Any idea what year comet this is/ what puller I would need? Even a thread size would help so I can fashion some kind of homemade one.

Re: Comet Clutch Identification
I commented on your other post (it's a 108EXP). If it's not 3/4" it's could be 5/8-18 or 9/16-18. I can tell by looking at it, it's not a pre 95 (which I have). I'm not well versed on all the changes that have been made to the 108EXP. Only know about the one I have.
80 Liquifire (purchased 1996 ~ Running)
80 Liquifire (purchased 2010 ~ Running....Now)
80 Liquifire (purchased 2011 ~ Not running - I officially have a problem now)
83 Snowfire (purchased 2014 father/son restoration project)
78 Spitfire ~ sold (should have been shot for this)
