Just wondering what everyone thinks about what this guy did to his sled? I think it's one the cleanest and sweetest Cyclones I have ever seen beside mine that is.

:D I think he did great job and I for one would love to give it a new home but then I would need a new home when the wife finds out.

If you are going to spend all that time and money on it, shouldn't a guy get deere decals that face the right way? Just asking....

It's certainly a really cool modification and looks great and I'll bet you it just rips .
After restoring a cyclone myself i have mixed feelings. On the one hand it would be great to have a unique sled like this , but on the other hand I think I would rather have a original restored example . I'm sure that this sled will attract alot of attention where ever it goes .
When I showed the ebay listing to my wife she just looked at me and said "don't even think about it "

I think its a neat sled.Did a very nice job,no hacking or butchering.Custom sleds like that show the "What if Deere ...did/put.........in their sleds"

I've spent close to a grand putting together a vintage sled. Many of you racers have probably spent many times that, either restoring a vintage racer, or actually racing in the vintage events. If $1600 was no object to me, I'd have it in my garage right now....

I think that your sled looks great!......Like you with your sled I have had to make the decision whether to restore to original or to make it a one of a kind custom.

While mine has been mainly with cars and bikes, the same thought process goes into the start of the project. Do I have all the original parts and is end result this project worth any thing (besides to me).
I have no doubt you made the right decision ????.as a matter of fact I had such faith in you, I was the high bidder the first time ( RJ154)

I will try again!
