102-c clutch
How do cam weights and spring pressures effect the engaugement speed on these clutches? I figure the stiffer spring will let the rpms get higher befor it engauges and the heavier cams will make it engauge sooner in the rpms. Can someone please hep clarify this.

The drive sheave spring controls engagement speed. If a heavier spring is installed, a higher speed will be required to overcome the spring force for engagement.
When a lighter weight is installed, the centrifugal force is less and the clutch takes longer to upshift. This causes shifting at a higher RPM.
