Sled overall is very nice. Got a nose cone on the way as well as bumper tape. Gonna drive it as is this winter and go through it next summer.

Other side. The Sea-Doo in the background is the supercharged 4-tec that the previous owners blew up with only 3 total hours on it after running it with no oil and as such no warranty coverage. I got it dirt cheap and went through it two winters ago.

440 L/C about 70hp, 1981. Only made one year. Easy to find mechanical parts as all it really is is a 1979 Arctic Cat El 'Tigre. Cosmetics are harder to find however. Unique sled.

Nice sled, Robb. I always liked the look of the Sidewinder. I only know of one near here and he doesn't want to sell it. You're in ND, aren't you? If you ever feel like parting with it, let me know. Perhaps, I could interest you in a trade on the 74 Nitro II I just bought?

Pete,

I have no intention of parting with it. It's actually in very nice shape. Probably won't find many more like this one. Gonna ride it at a few vintage rides this year. I've got a line on another Sidewinder that I'm picking up in a few weeks. I think around 3000 miles. Maybe we could work something out. I've seen it years ago but haven't seen it now for about 10 years. We'll see what shape it's actually in when I pick it up.

BTW, I live in Hudson, WI but get to northern MN frequently.

Sounds good, Robb. Let me know when you get it. I'd likely be interested in it if it's decent ....especially if delivery to northern MN is a possibility.
