440 cyclone wiring
I ahve a 440 cyclone that had the wiring hacked to pieces. none of the electronics worked on it. now, all kill swithes work but the headlight puts out excessive ac voltage. the tach also doesn't work. is my problem just the voltage regulator or should i look for something else? but right now i stuck a volt meter on it and at 3,000 rpm it was putting about 20 volts ac to the headlight. all thge other lights i think have blown out. could this have ruined my tack as well or will my tach work once the excessive voltage is fixed. also are these ac or dc voltage systems?

luquid80,
The electrical system is AC voltage. From your discription the regulator is bad which blew out all the bulbs. There is a inline fuse on the back of the tach, check it out, which could have blew also.
