need baseline carb specs-installing mikuni on JD30
I have given up on the walbro on my JD 300, and am going to put a mikuni on instead. What I am looking for are some complete specs from any sled manufacturer that used the same Kohler 295 2AX motor. Would like all the specs (ie-slide cut away, needle size, needle jet, etc.) This would save me a ton of time doing the trial and error method. Maybe someone on this board has already done a similiar swap and was successful! Thanks for the help.

I would start out probably using the specs off an older Spitfire with the
Kohler 340 free air motor
that is as follows @ sea level & below 0 deg. in temp
carb VM 28 Slide Valve
main jet 220
jet needle 5EJ13-3
needle jet (169) O-6
Throttle valve 2.5
pilot jet 30
air srew 2-1/2 turns open
idle speed 1500-2000 RPM
