Liquifire needle bearings

Post by flacker36 »

I ordered new needle bearings for my 80 liquifire. They arrived & appear slightly different. The new ones only have 13 needles & the old one has 14. Also the old needles are longer than the new ones. All the dimensions are correct though.

Any imput on either using the old ones again or is it safe to use the new ones????

as long as the length of the cage is the same and it fits the pin and rod it will be fine.

The new needle bearings are aftermarket. I just wanted to be sure I wouldn't screw up the connecting rods if I used them instead of the old ones.

The old ones look fine, any suggestions on reusing them???
