1978 J.D. Spitfire

Hi everyone. My name is Eric, and I own and 1978 John Deere Spitfire. As you all know, it has the Kohler K340-2FA engine. But, the sled doesn't have the carburator with it. Could anyone tell me the Mikuni part number or atleast the mm's that the carb is so that I can try and find one? I do have a discretion in the John Deere numbers, one John Deere number is AM54364 and the other is AM54886. I have no idea in what direction I need to pursue this in. Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again,
Eric

Go with the snowfire carb set up or the sprintfire and jet to the snowfire. rather than the butterfly that came on it.

Welcoe Eric.
28mm are getting hard to find around here. Check cross shafts in suspension, they'll be seized! Take the time and check through this site as there is alot of good info. we had a smeared woodruff key on crank , throwing it out of time.... a bit, that was fun to find!
