Spending quality time with my Johnson

Just what I needed, another space taker in the barn.....this gem followed me home from the A-1 show last Saturday. For some reason I have always wanted a sled with a rotary engine.

I am needing a couple parts for the ol' cruiser, would any of you guys have any Johnson connections?

Gosh this sled looks fimiliar.
Does it by chance have broken drivers?

You can try Kent at jxnut@aol.com
He has an extensive supply of 74-76 OMC parts.

Hi Todd - do you have one of these big bastards too? Man, I had a 74 Evinrude QuietFlight about 8 years ago and I had forgot how wide the seats are on these dudes. I was out spinning hot laps the yard today, entertaining the neighbors is always high on my priority list.

The drivers look good, but I have a broken bogie spring I need to replace. Overall the sled is in pretty good shape and the seller was motivated on the price so that helped make the deal.

I think this is going to be my new HOF Challenge sled.....I figure I could strap a barrel of beer on the back and be the hit of the party! :lol22:

It looks to be in very good shape indeed.
I have a JX and a couple of Skimmers but no rotary powered OMC's.

Is that the only part you need, a spring? If so you are in good shape.

I saw one for sale last summer at a show that looked just as nice as yours but the drivers were both in pieces. Too much power and too many years.

If you bring this to HOF it will come in handy fetching back Paul's triple.

That sexy beast looks a little nicer than my collection of omc.

These two are just parts sleds but look how the body style changed between 70 and that one
