JDX track tention

Today I was doing some adjustments on my JDX slide suspension. I checked my tech book on the proper track tention, and it specs 1"-1.5" from the cleat to the wear bar. This seems loose, and it was a lot tighter before. How does everyone else have this adjusted?

I was told the same thing by an Arctic Cat dealer when I put the new one on my X8 this year. So far its still has good tension. I have about an inch of play in it. This is with the bogey's, not the slide.
