I know you have delt with stator and electrical issues with your cyclone. Boy I am at my wits end. This summer I had the stator rebuilt in Quebec. Install that. Had spark on both sides but now have lost it on the left side. We thought the Fireplug CDI box went bad because when we switched wires from the right coil to the left coil we got spark on the left side. So both coils must be ok. So I bought a new fire plug cdi box. Installed that. Still no spark on the left side. The only thing I can think of is maybe a wire from the stator to the cdi box that influences the left side must be bad. Other than that I have replaced everything I can think of: stator and cdi box and check the coils.

Anythoughts or help?

Matt,
Check the ohms on the timing ring. Both leads should be 30 ohms each to the green ground wire. It sounds like the pto side trigger coil has failed
