hey i came across a 80 liquid and i think a 81 trail the liquid has a twisted tunnel but is complet and the tunnel on the trail is good but the rest of the sled was robbed of its prize posessions lol will the stuff from the luid convert on to the trail?

At the very least, you going to have to made modifications for the liquid cooling system to make that work.

I have a few 80 Liquifires in Aitkin Mn ( one bare tunnel, others complete sleds in various conditions ) But can't get up to them until march or April. PM me if your interested

If just the aluminum tunnel is tweaked, and if the TrailFire is a 1980 or newer (aluminum tunnel, NOT steel) then you can remove the bulkhead from the LF and transplant it onto the TF tunnel by way of drilling out all the rivets and reriveting the bulkhead back on. You can then transplant the suspension and track from the liquifire into this tunnel by way of swapping the trailing arm from the TF onto the LF suspension. It will then be a "bolt in" job. Seat, tank and dash will all swap easily. Should be able to complete it in under 8 hours no sweat.

If you would like a replacement Liquifire tunnel, send me a PM. I know of an 80 Liquifire parts sled located just east of Rochester.
