After market CDI boxes

Post by Nutter »

I have seen a few different kinds of CDI boxes for my '80 TF. Prices vary a lot and some look different than others (in the catalog photos anyways).

Does anyone know if any of these work better than the others?

I have used a couple of the ones from Pat's. Very generic but they work and the price is excellent. The ElectroPac cloan does not even have a sticker on the box.

Thanks.

Mine turned out to be OK, just had a bad ground. It's good to know that the after market boxes work OK. Sooner or later I'm sure I'll need one.
