Trying to figure out where the little tin holder that holds the the two oil lines going to the manifold witch bolt holds it on a 84 trail fire

I for one am not clear as to which part you want. Could I suggest that you go to www.vintagesnow.com and look at one of webman's manuals? Either that or you could look in the JD parts book available online.

looked in the jd service book that covers all the models never counld find the pic of it the two small oil lines that run fron the oil pump to the motor there a small holder i think goes on the lower maifold bolt to the right of the carb

I just took a look. Don't know exactly what you are talking about. Please describe the "Clip" Is it round? Square? Plastic? I'm not seeing what you describe so give me more detail.
