Belt Deflection/ How much is too much?

Does anyone know how much belt deflection I should have on my 80' sportfire with a Max-1078 belt? This belt was on the sled when I got it, it might need to be replaced. It just feels like it has alot of play (up and down movement) between the two clutches. Thanks

Hey thanks Rich, You hit the nail right on the head! I guess that would explain why my clutch engagement went up from 4000(last year)-4450 RPM(this year). The belt is riding about 1/8 below flush.
