I put new bearings in the Sprintfire that I picked up last month. They needed changed on the drive shaft and in the rear suspension. The right side drive shaft bearing had locked up and worn into the shaft so I replaced it with another Sprint driveshaft I had. The problem that I have now is that the shaft is running to far to the left side and the track is hitting the side of the tunnel at times. I think I know what I did wrong but I want to confirm it before I tear into it again. The shoulder at the secondary side of the shaft is going to center the shaft and I remember that when I put the bearing on that side I put the side of the bearing that would fit into a locking collar towards the secondary clutch and now I think I should have put it on the other way. I should have realized when I didn't need all the shims that came off to line the secondary up that something was wrong.

Re: Sprintfire drive shaft question
you should have the shoulder for the locking collar on the inside of the tunnel.
