Hi Guys i know this topic has been covered but was unable to find it, Can i please have the Carb setups for the 82 Trailfire 440,ive went to the manual site but not getting any success the prob is when trying to take off form a dead stop you have to feather throttle to get it to move if you hold it ...

Hey Guys not to good with carb set ups and turning the screws on a carb can someone baby step me through this ??? whats the turns i need on this carb thanks in advance guys

yep headlight does work and when i checked for power to taillght i grounded test light and looked for power at tail light and nada

Todd i guess i should clear up the last message i have power to the plug that comes from the stator through the wiring harness but no power to the plug at tailight with tester

Todd thanks again i now have Headlight still no tail light though although there is power going to the plug so my guess is that it has a ground prob what ya think what are my options???

ty Todd i appreciate your knowledge i will now see what the wire were for a 74 panther maybe that will help figure the no lights prob have a great weekend!!!!!!!!

where would i find out what year this motor is from that way i can see what wires go where is there a site i can go to show moel and year of sled transplant?? thanks in advance guys

lights worked before i switched motors now got nada for lights but.... there is power to the plug from stator just wont get to lights could its just a matter of getting the plugs in the right spot

Hi Guys ok heres my prob i have a 82 trailfire lx 440 the motor went down a cylinder after the c clip from the mag side fell out and wrecked the cylinder and piston so while i had the motor out i checked the crank bearing needless to say the crank needs to be redone,at this time i cant afford to fix...

One or 2 peice clutch puller???
Whats the difference here guys in the 1 and 2 peice clutch puller??? i bought the 2 peice and im not able to get the primary clutch off any secret way ? lol
