I received the correct engine and pipes today. Thank You Matt. Now the fun will begine.
This was the last JD race sled that I needed. It will be a cool lineup. Pics soon.

I had the problem of hard starting and fuel running out the exhaust on a 77 Liquifire I had
purchased. The fuel pump was letting gas sump through when sitting and filling
the crankcase up. Rebuilt the fuel pump and problem was solved.

It works, I installed a 78 440 Liquidfire engine in a 73 JDX 8. I also used a JD 800 pipe without the can, it sounds great. The secondary clutch from the a Liquifire will not work becauseit is to large. I cut the tunnel and installed the coolers under the seat and they work good. I will try and lear...

What I have found is on the carb end the cable has to pull out 2 3/4". The universal one
that I bought for the 34 carb pulls out 2 1/2". The lever end does not bottom out when
the carb end is pulled. Thank You for the response. Ron
