Murry, I would not think the sleeved cylinder made any difference. Just the luck of draw which seal went south. Are the seals new installed by you or a close friend? What did the plugs look like prior to the meltdown. If the seal in the mag side went down would you ask yourself the same question in ...

Rob, There are likely many cdi boxes that will work. I can tell you an Invader LTD has the same HSR retarding curve(27BTDC>8BTDC). The regular Invader has an advancing curve12BTDC>16BTDC.
