How much is compression supossed to be in both cylinders?

How many turns out does the idle screw have to be out?And also the fuel one?

I am getting spark and i just cleaned the carb. It first started acting up when hot and then i took of carbs and i noticed that my Idle screw was missing so i took another one out of another mikuni carb and i made sure it was the right size and all then i replaced the spark plugs and fuel filter now...

I have a 1978 John Deere snowmobile and it wont start. There is gas that is coming out of the exhaust pipe and spark plugs are flooded.
What could be the problem?

I have a 1978 john Deere Liquifire 440 and i need parts. Does anyone have parts i can buy from them, or know where i can find parts?
I need a Back Grab bar, Speedometer, coolant gauge, hood vent or hood with vent, Sled cover

I just checked my belt and it is still good and is not broken or worn, i took the cover off and started it and it looked like the cooling belt was running right and all. How do i check if the water pump is working?

I have not checked the cooling belt. But now that you mentioned that i smelled rubber burning and i thought it was my drive belt. I will look at that belt right now

Yes, I also put new fuel lines on, and a fuel filter between the fuel pump and fuel tank

The only thing i have done engine wise to the sled is clean carbs and fuel pump and also put fresh coolant in it every year. The sled has not been rebuilt as far as i know. I got it in 2008 and i finally got it running good last year at the end of the season and it was running good all this past wee...

The plugs are brend new and the right cylinder is dry and the left cylinder is dryer. The sled starts right up in the cold but just not when it is hot.

I pulled them both off and checked that and it is getting fuel in pulses so what else could be the problem?

My fuel filters are brand new at the end of the season last year when i parked it, and i have fresh gas also. When the sled is running and starts to bogg i put the choke on and it still continues to die.
