Re: Pretty nice '83 Sportfire on Philly Craigslist w Estart

I actually had a little interest in this sled as I have noticed yours Don, nice looking sled, dependable, electric start. Beautiful, basically an old guys sled. (That's me) than noticed that I have to many darn sleds the way it is.

Re: Back from the RWTC 2016

Never been to this event as it usually falls either on the same or close to the same weekend as the Vintagesleds LOS 3 day ride. Next year seems to be a couple weeks apart. Sounds like a fun event this HOF ride. Maybe next year.

Don, do you take special request. A shirt with a picture of your past self sitting on the 340/s autographed and framed. That would look cool in my display shop.

Re: 340/S on evilbay in NY

I see that it went unsold. Racers are not going for what they once did. Think part of that is everybody has the sleds they want already. Not many new guys coming into the hobby.

Re: Barn find

Re: 340/S PROTO?

If not proto than I'm going with oval and drag sled. Lighter tank and seat. Easier access to carbs. Chai case for jetting and gearing. I like it.
