As far as belts go, I bought a Dayco HP3012 seems it fit better, no drag and it sits higher in the secondary.

When i adjusted my engine on the plate I removed the plate mounting hardware, dropped the bolts out of the front end. Put a short piece of 2x4 on end between plate and frame (under manifold). Thanks to all that responded. The measurement between clutch inner sheeves was a great idea, assuming you are 11.47" c/c then that measurement between clutches will be much easier to gage. BTW my mounting plate has elongated holes.
