Spitfire limiter strap
Can someone explain or snap a picture for me of the limiter strap on a 80 spitfire. I'm just wondering how its ment to be installed. Are both looped ends ment to be put around the cross shaft between the slide rails? Seems very short. Thanks.

Re: 340s clutches
Not required to use stock clutches, I just have a number of them. So convenient. I don't know what type of clutch would be that much better as its still a stock motor. I'll be swapping back and forth when not racing it. I have weights with an engagement notch out of a 340/s. Thought I might be able ...

340s clutches
Has anyone ran the stock setup from a 340s on a 340 liquifire? Would this over rev the motor? Or should I just change the primary spring and stay with stock weights? Is the secondary cam the same angle? Thought it might be a good start for a drag setup. Any insight is appreciated before I start mess...

The rest of the sled is very nice. 440 f/c. Very light too, should rip.

Brought to you by "it ran this year". I don't know how if it did, never seen one this bad. Both sides pretty close to the same. Pulled over alright but there has to be stuff in the crank too. Not what I wanted to find.

Yes I am actually. I made my own pullers but you might get one at rec supply with the seals I know they sell. Or newbreedparts online if that's better for you.

Re: 1977 JD300 Exhaust Ideas
I've got a few that are in good shape if you want a stock exhaust. There's a few wreckers you could check with too in saskabush. Either would be better than homemade if you can help it.

Haha ya it was a bit worn out and liked to flop around at highway speeds. I must of got better fuel mileage towing it that way anyway.

It was a fun sled to fix up, once I got past all the bird droppings. Electric start worked amazing.
