i was thinking about the 80 liquifire and the motor from a wrecked 01 polaris xc 600 (twin cyl) i have lay'n around. but will the drive line handle it?

Chuck I havn't been on in a while. I've been really busy with harvest. Wheat and straw in july and august, grapes in september and october, and now soybeans and corn. So i'm not on here much till maybe mid december. You can always leave me a PM. I'll get back with ya.

If you get a vacuum leak on the intake manifold or a crank seal went bad. Or if the carburetor is dirty it will run lean and burn down. Keep that carb clean.
