ok, thanks for all the ideas, a new clutch and proper size belt and we are in business....any places i can order a clutch rebuild kit for the deere clutch?

okay so all items listed check out for the good,would the stator be a concern?

Needed parts a good stator,and a clutch puller any leads as to where i can find these.

I have a 1976 340 cyclone which has no getup and go, i have cleaned the carb, gas lines new plugs,it starts on the first pull...idles very nice....on a stand it rpms up very nice...take it out and it starts off good till about 20 miles an hour and then just nothing....bogging....any ideas would be n...
