That sucks, I think I would have to trailer my sled the 60 miles and do some riding. the way things have been last few years I ride whenever and wherever possible because you never know. next week may be 59 degrees and pouring rain.

Looking for info on SNOWFIRE's
Ive had my 83 for about 4 years. Its a fun, comfortable sled. Its really cold blooded to start but ok after I installed a primer. I dont like the cdi and coil mounted so close to the motor because it gets very hot and leads to premature failure. Beside that its one of the nicest older sleds ever.

If you think it will help I will dig out the paper and measure it up with my digital micrometer and send you the dimen...

I wasnt able to match it up either so I bought an oversized one and ground it down on the bench grinder till it fit perfectly. took about an hour. you gotta keep taking a hair at a time off and then going to see the fit. then back to the bench grinder and so on. worked fine though.

Saturday January 6th. In Maine. I just came in from doing some cleanup with the chainsaw around the edges of the driveway. Wearing shorts and tee shirt. Sweating like a pig. 64 degrees. Im going to pour a scotch and cry myself to sleep. If anyone sees old man winter. Kick him in the ass and send him...
